It takes time.
It always does.
And this honey, is when I realized that the white they're showing me, is in fact so dark a shade, I wish it would've been a gray instead.
Pearl? Of course. Gray? Maybe. Pitch black? Nae.
But I've been there. And in the pitch dark, a ray of faint white, fades the black, bringing forth the ash. It always had to come to the fore.
As hopes perished slowly, every story seemed futile, it was the lies that unfolded the unsaid truth.
And now I'm falling for this pearly gray, it's more fair than what they're trying to portray.
