I'm Alright

I'm scared of what's ahead,

Wish those ghosts were dead,

I'm unsure if I can face the memories I dread,

Can I hope it'll stop the cycle looping in my head?

I'm unsure if I can still pretend,

That all's well until the end,

It's all just twists and bends.

I know, for myself I must fend,

And say "I'm alright", as my anguish I tend.
