Each time the golden fingers of light stream in,
My mind wanders back to that time.
The corners of his lips curled up in a smile,
His eyes beaming with glee looking at me,
He shifts his gaze, beckoning me to follow,
I see what he sees.
Rays spilling in through the glass,
Painting the walls with gold,
Sun beams dancing on the floor.
Now the corners of my lips curled up in a smile,
And I looked back at him to commend what caught his eye,
But my heart skipped a beat,
As I looked at him looking at me.
